I recently upgraded my PC and put som 2400Mhz RAM. However, when I run CPU-Z it shows me this info. Is this the way it is supposed to be? I have not made any motherboard bios changes and everything is (mostly) as it came from the factory.

RAM needs to be set properly from the BIOS. These most of all : Memory Clock (u small multiple value) and Timings example 9-10-9-27 (You would find them in a list underneath each other.)
Simply put you are  'overclocking' your RAM to work at the  advertised speed. Right now it is working at a standard 1333mhz with standard timings.

Apparently I need to set the XMP profile in BIOS. Follow this link to see the full solution.
